Tour Itinerary

April 6, 2024: ISTANBUL (D)
Arrival in Istanbul and transfer to the hotel. We will have our welcome dinner at one
of our favorite restaurants. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul


April 7, 2024: ISTANBUL (B/L/D)
Visit highlights of Istanbul such as Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome and Basilica Cistern.
We will have our lunch at one of the roof top restaurants with a wonderful view of Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Afternoon, cruise on Bosporus by private boat followed by free time at Spice Market. Later, we will be free at Eminonu and Galata Bridge to take nice blue hour photos of Istanbul. Dinner and overnight in Istanbul.

 

April 8, 2024: ISTANBUL (B/L/D)
We will start our day with sunrise photos at Ortaköy area where we can shoot the
Ortakoy Mosque, Bosporus Straight and Bosporus Bridge. Later we will come back to
our hotel for breakfast and get ready for our day. Today, we will do some Street
photography in Balat and Karakoy districts. Later, we will have drive to Taxim Square
have our lunch and continue on Istiklal Street
(Rue de Pera). We will end our day in
Galata Tower with nice view and photos of the city and return back to our hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Istanbul.

 

April 9, 2024: ISTANBUL – CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will be transferred to Istanbul airport to take our flight to Cappadocia. As we arrive in Cappadocia, we will meet our bus/van and will start our tour. We will first see underground cities where the Christians were hiding and later will continue to explore Cappadocia. We will have our lunch at a typical house in Cappadocia and later will visit Uchisar, Pıgeon Valley and Love valley. We will end our day at Kızılcukur to have the best sunset photos. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia

 

April 10, 2024: CAPPADOCIA (B/L/D)
Early in the morning we will have a hot air balloon ride which is a great experience for taking photos. Later, we will return back to our hotel for breakfast. Then we will continue to explore Cappadocia. We will visit Goreme Open Air Museum where we will see ancient churches and monasteries carved on rocks. Later, we will continue to Valley of Imagination (Derbent) have lunch and visit pasabag and Zelve. During the day we will also make stops at the view terraces to have nice photo opportunities of the valley. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia.

 

April 11, 2024: CAPPADOCIA – KONYA (B/L/D)
Early morning, we will have sunrise photo session from one of the terraces in Cappadocia. This time, we will be able to take photos of the valley plus the balloons,
rising in the air. Later we will return back to our hotel for breakfast and will drive to
Konya. En route first visit Sultanhan. As we arrive in Konya, we will have lunch and will visit Rumi’s Tomb and Museum of Whirling Dervishes. Dinner and overnight in Konya

 

April 12, 2024: KONYA – PAMUKKALE (B/L/D)
After a leisure breakfast, we will drive to Pamukkale. Pamukkale means “Cotton
Castle” and the name comes from white travertines. It is also and important Christian
are attached to the ancient site of Hieropolis. Our first stop will be excavation area of
Collosae. Later, we will continue to Laodecia and will visit this recently excavated
ancient city. We will also talk about importance of Laodecia as mentioned in the book
of Revelation. Later, we will drive to Pamukkale and visit the national park of
Pamukkale together with ancient site Hieropolis. Before returning to our hotel we will
have chance to take sunset photos from the view terraces of Pamukkale. Dinner and
overnight in Pamuakkale.

 

April 13, 2024: PAMMUKALE – KUSADASI (B/L/D)
This morning we will enjoy thermal pools of our hotel in Pamukkale and will depart at
noon to drive to Kusadasi. En route, we will visit ancient city Aphrodisias which had
an important sculpture school. We will discuss traditions and religions of this are and
will continue to Kusadasi. Dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.

 

April 14, 2024: KUSADASI – EPHESUS – KUSADASI (B/L/D)
Today, we will visit Ephesus area. We will fist drive to Mary’s House where she is  believed to have stayed during her last years. Later, we will visit ancient site of
Ephesus which is one of the best preserved ancient sites in the World. We will visit
this ancient site in detail and will also discuss about Paul in Ephesus as well as ealy
Christian and Jewish presence in the city. Later we will have a local lunch and will
continue to Basilica of John which is a Basilica constructed on the hill where John
lived before he was exiled to the island of Patmos. Before our dinner, we will take
some nice sunset photos in Kusadasi viewing the bay and the castle. We will have
our dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.
 

April 15, 2024: KUSADASI
We will continue to enjoy Kusadasi. We will have a free morning and later will depart
to visit the ancient sites Priene and Miletos. Later, we will return back to our hotel to
enjoy facilities and will have our dinner and overnight in Kusadasi.

 

April 16, 2024: FLIGHT TO ISTANBUL (B/L/D)
Morning, transfer to Izmir airport for flight to Istanbul. As we will arrive to Istanbul,
we will be transferred to our hotel in the old city. Later, we will have time to explore
Suleymaniye Mosque and Grand Bazaar to take our last souvenirs or to take our last
photos. Farewell dinner and overnight in Istanbul.

 

April 17, 2024: ISTANBUL (B/-/-)
Transfer to airport for flight to US

PACKING LIGHT WILL MAKE YOUR TRIP MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE.

 

Tour Difficulty = Moderate

Easy = less than 2 miles walking/day and little climbing.

Moderate = up to 5 miles walking per day with some climbing.

Strenuous = more than 5 miles/day of walking and several climbing/hills/rough terrains expected. You should know your health and ability to carry your gear in hot, cold, humid, and dry conditions and be able to walk 5 miles or more per day and make climbs in elevation of up to 1000 feet in gain and be OK climbing many steps or steep terrain.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

Pursuant to Clause 2 under Enrollment: If you need to cancel within a stated refund period, M&M Photo Tours, Inc. may allow you to apply all monies paid to a future trip, within 12 months.  We must receive written notification (E-mail is accepted) of your cancellation and your desire to apply the funds to a future trip.

 

We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance as this policy is strongly adhered to. The purchase of travel insurance covering baggage, accident/life and trip cancellation is highly recommended.  M&M Photo Tours, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any trip/tour/group due to insufficient registration at any time.  In the event of such cancellation, those with reservations shall be notified as soon as possible and a full refund of trip payment will be given.  It is agreed by registering for any M&M Photo Tours, Inc. tour that M&M Photo Tours, Inc. assumes no responsibility for refund or additional expenses incurred in preparation for a trip.
