Day 1

Depart from US gateway city or your home city on the flight to Geneva, Switzerland.

Day 2

Arrive in Geneva. We’ll transfer to our train and head to Lausanne and check-in to our hotel for the night. After check-in we’ll assemble at the hotel for introductions, and then after a late lunch we’ll start exploring beautiful Lausanne. We will find great compositions of the classic wooden foot bridge. For those who choose to do so we will also do night photography this evening because Lausanne is spectacular when the lights come on. Overnight in Lausanne.

Day 3

After an early morning shoot to catch the light on Lake Geneva near Lausanne we’ll catch our train to the Jungfrau Region to begin our adventure in the Swiss Alps. We’ll travel via Interlaken and the Lauterbrunnen Valley on our way to Murren which will be our home base as we explore the region. After settling in at our hotel in Murren we’ll enjoy an evening shoot of the impressive Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau peaks across the valley from us. Overnight in Murren.

Day 4

We’ll start early to catch the sunrise light on the peaks and then continue on with an adventure and shoot of the North Face Trail from Murren. This is a 4 mile, downhill hike with a 1000 foot drop in elevation. We’ll enjoy great views and settings for meadows of flowers, mountain huts, Swiss livestock, and other sights all with the impressive Swiss Alps as our backdrop. We’ll also explore and photograph the mountain hamlets of Gimmelwald and Murren. The day will end with a sunset shoot as the sun sets over the surrounding peaks. Overnight in Murren.

Day 5

Again today we’ll depart early as we head across the Lauterbrunnen Valley to enjoy an easy alpine 4 hour hike accompanied with awesome photography – this is the Mannlichen – Kleine Scheidegg hike. The hike will take us through streams of melting snow, incredible and unobstructed views of the three main peaks of the region – Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau. Overnight in Murren.

Day 6

The last full day of our Swiss Alps adventure will be spent exploring and photographing the Lauterbrunnen Valley. We’ll visit Trummelbach & Staubbach Falls after we descend into the valley from Gimmelwald. We’ll also spend time exploring and photographing the route from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken with stops at the Schynige Platte and the vistas offered from there. Overnight in Geneva.

Day 7

After a final hearty Swiss breakfast, transfer to Geneva Airport for departure flight home.
